As for Arnold - I just used the dmg-installer (from Autodesk). It never had been an issue so far.
Yesterday I tried to install the latest Renderman version and the hiccup started.

Hi there, just figured it out!! It's a bit annoying but the order of the script is very important. Didn't know that... So everything was before Arnold line and therefore didn't work as supposed.
